COVINGTON, Ky. Former Texas congressman Ron Paul has formally endorsed Libertarian Party candidate Jeremy Todd in the race to represent Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District, campaign officials announced this week. Todd is running to fill the seat being vacated by Republican Rep. Thomas Massie, who failed to secure his party’s nomination in the primary election held earlier this year.
The endorsement was delivered through a standard written message and then propagated through the candidate’s X account. Paul registered his official approval of Todd’s platform, which emphasizes reducing federal expenditure amounts and lowering overall government involvement in administrative affairs, and Todd issued a short statement acknowledging the endorsement, in which he expressed personal gratitude for the support and confirmed that his campaign would continue as planned.

Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District covers the northern portion of the state along the Ohio River. As previously reported, Todd’s name will appear on general election ballots alongside the Republican nominee, Ed Gallrein, and the Democratic nominee, Melissa Strange. None of the three candidates have dropped out beyond the deadline to do so, and no debate has been held between any candidate. However, Cincinnati Public Radio did conduct a side-by-side interview of the two non-GOP candidates, which you can view here, and here.
