The American Solidarity Party (ASP) failed to secure a single victory in its 2026 midterm contests, with candidates struggling to attract meaningful vote shares in state and local elections across the country.
In Florida Senate District 6, Joseph Thornton finished third with just 0.97% (2,038 votes). Wisconsin Assembly candidate Nathan Tataje similarly placed third with 1.6% (437 votes). In Texas, ASP-backed gubernatorial write-in candidate Mike Miller received only 1,266 votes, approximately 0.01% statewide, according to the Texas Secretary of State.
Indiana offered the party comparatively stronger results, but all five candidates still lost. Election returns showed Bonnie Kallis receiving 16.9% (498 votes), Zach Aument 16.2% (607), Chad Corbett 15.9% (153), Aurora Verkamp 9.6% (1,264), and Matt Crummey 6.4% (4,448) in county council and school board contests.
Illinois gubernatorial write-in candidate Mike Vick and running mate Gary Pierce also failed to win, although a reliable statewide vote total remains unavailable as of yet.
The party’s highest verified vote share among these candidates was Kallis’s 16.9%, while its state legislative contenders failed to reach 2%. North Carolina Democrat Paul Taylor, who received 45.6% in a losing state Senate campaign, was supported, but he did not run as the party’s nominee.
Taken together, the available results document a sweeping electoral defeat for the minor party, which failed to convert its participation in the 2026 midterms into a verified electoral victory.
