A new online platform, LPMerit.org, was officially launched last week with the goal of providing Libertarian Party delegates and members a centralized resource for evaluating candidates for the Libertarian National Committee (LNC) and Judicial Committee (JC) by the inter-caucus coalition LPAlliance. Designed in the spirit of voter information hubs like Ballotpedia and the League of Women Voters, the site focuses exclusively on internal Libertarian Party elections.

The platform aims to improve transparency and accessibility by offering detailed candidate profiles, including responses to a standardized questionnaire. These profiles are intended to give delegates deeper insight into candidates’ views, priorities, and qualifications ahead of party elections.

At launch, the site features two initial candidate profiles, Brittany Kosin and Mike Seebeck –who participated early to help test and shape the platform. Organizers note that these early contributions were essential in refining the user experience and ensuring the site is ready for broader participation.

All candidates running for LNC or JC positions this year were encouraged to create profiles and complete the questionnaire, which reportedly takes approximately 15 minutes to finish. The site’s creator expressed hope that LPMerit.org will become a lasting resource, supporting informed decision-making within the party for years to come.

Party members and delegates can access the platform as of the current date and are invited to explore candidate profiles and share the resource widely.
