Party officials highlighted continued stability following last year’s party building sale, with available cash climbing to $808,239 by month’s end, an increase that underscores the organization’s improved liquidity position early in 2026.

Liabilities remained largely unchanged, signaling disciplined cost management even as the committee ramps up activity ahead of its national convention. Modest increases in deferred revenue have been reported, driven by early convention registration. According to Third Party Watch, those funds expected to convert into recognized revenue in May.

On the revenue side, February delivered a standout performance. The committee reported $90,121 in income for the month, nearly doubling January’s total and bringing year-to-date revenue to just over 14 percent of its annual target. The early pace suggests fundraising efforts are gaining traction after a dismal January, positioning the organization to try and catch up to its budgeted amount for the year, which showed a significant deficit during the month of January.

Expenses amounted to $64,310 spent in February and year-to-date outlays represented 12.5 percent of planned annual expenditures. The result was a positive net income of $25,811 for the month, helping to offset January’s shortfall and bringing the year’s cumulative balance closer to even.

Behind the scenes, compliance operations were reported to be running smoothly, with federal filings submitted on schedule and internal coordination drawing praise from leadership. The report, written by LNC Treasurer Bill Redpath, credits Assistant Treasurer Patrick Mitchell for his assistance during the current LNC term as the committee heads into a pivotal stretch of the election cycle.
